About Polam Oaks Nursery

Our newly refurbished and well-resourced nursery department provides a happy, safe and very homely environment where children are encouraged to experience learning through play.

Children may join the Nursery from the age of 12 months. Our Nursery sessions are extremely flexible and can be tailored to your child's individual needs.  We provide year round wrap-around care from 8am until 6pm for those families that require it.  We require all children to attend for a minimum of 3 sessions and we also encourage children to start moving towards full time care by their final term in the Nursery, to help prepare them for their transition to the School. For a full breakdown of our session times, please go to the fees section.  

The nursery provides the perfect environment in which to gradually prepare your child for school life and our small classes will ensure that your child receives personal attention at all times.  Our Nursery is a fully integrated part of the school, which gives your child the opportunity to benefit from our extensive range of facilities and specialist teaching including Music, French and, from 3 years old, Swimming.  All the pre-school skills are taught at this age and it is here that children are first encouraged to develop an enthusiasm for learning.

Nursery Vouchers are accepted and from the age of three, children are eligible for the Early Years Funding scheme which provides funding for up to 15 hours of child care.
